Caen Hill Locks (Thursday 9th July 2015)

I dropped by at Caen Hill Locks to check in on the small swan family, but they weren't around to be seen. I walked from Caen Hill Café up to the Black Horse canal side pub and back. I was pleased to see poppies growing on the banks spilling over from the gardens of the adjacent houses.

I saw mallards with ducklings and this tufted duck family. The tufted ducklings were all diving and reappearing so it took awhile to get a full cluster in shot.

I will add the album of the 30 shots I took when I have uploaded them, but I am still working on the Marwell shots. This blipping on the day thing causes all sorts of problems!
