Donaustadt Bridge

This elegant A frame bridge crosses the Danube in Vienna carrying the U2 subway. Apparently its 343m long. and I quote "The cable stayed bridge with its crest-shaped plyon head nas a main span of 186m, and its design includes a dteel carrier trek, an orthotropic plate and a 75 high steel A-pylon". So now we know! I was particularly struck however becuase the scaled down model that my students built at Constructionarium back in May was very similar and equally elegant.
