Insect day at Rimac
A very busy day. First we had a tree surgeon and team round to take down an enormous leylandi that is in next doors garden but grows mainly over our garden, then we went for an insect identification day at the local nature reserve. Then we went on an outing with the Louth Male Voice Choir to Lincoln Cathedral and then a fish and chip supper.
The insect day was great. We swept the grass with nets and then put our findings in bottles and then looked at them under a microscope. What an unknown world beneath our feet. Very, very interesting.
