And then there was daylight...

I knew I'd be pushed for time and lacking in inspiration when I was getting ready to come back to Brum so I took this picture before I buried my iPad in my case.

It's a daytime version of Thursday blip Not quite midnight

It's not quite so spooky looking during the day!

I was glad I'd taken it as by the time I got back to Birmingham Airport and was forced to wait in a corridor until two plane loads of people flying in from Belfast had filed past security cameras, I was in no mood for picture taking! No I don't know why they had to go past the cameras either. As it was, I was close to the front of the queue and had to act as interpreter relaying information back from the Brummie security guard to my mainly Glaswegian fellow passengers!

I suppose it was quite funny when I look back but I was like all of the seven dwarves rolled into one right then, especially Dopey, Grumpy and Sneezy.

My good humour returned when I was sat outside the Dog and Doublet with friends, a pint of Abbot Ale and a packet of peanuts!

You see, I'm easily pleased really!
