Beauty in the environment
A beautiful warm, sunny blue skied Friday.
I went to buy a copy of People's Friend, and then after a long gap, visited my raised bed at the station.
The growth of wild strawberries, and lettuce leaves, a coriander plant, carrots and nasturtiums, together with various wild flowers, were a wonderful mix of green growth.
I spent a while clearing some of the chick weed, with little white flowers, and noticed a family of white backed spiders.
Others have very successful looking raised beds nearby.
There was a beautiful Red Admiral butterfly enjoying the warmth of the sunlight. It was a joy to see.
The collage includes some of the bright and beautiful planters in the neighbourhood.
