Another day ends

I was told of lots of very bad news today. In the last 24hrs, it seems that a negative air descended on the town resulting in simply terrible situations that are quite unheard of here.

An elderly, but amazingly youthful, energetic, intelligent and funny friend died last night. We are all very shocked and just cannot believe it.

An incident late last night erupted into a feud between locals and police. 12 people died.

Two men have been arrested and are in prison on different matters.

A local mother and her daughter were killed in their home.

It has really made me think about life's values and what is important. We all strive to be a good person, provide for our families, make changes in the World and 'Enjoy our time' as we say here.....BUT it is gone in a second. A walk along the river this evening was needed to try and balance things out.
