Just hangin' around...

The ancient Mortuary Temple of Ramses III, Medinet Habu.

The not so old and very colourful village of Qorna Merit in the background, a once thriving community, that lived in decorated mud brick homes and in the foreground, the youth of a post Mubarak Egypt.

What a wonderful place for children to grow up in. Their playground and indeed mine, is the 3,500 year old, Ancient City of Thebes. The once mighty Pharoahs controlled the land and the people, the most powerful people in Egypt.

Now we wait, to see who the new 'Pharoah' of this land will be. The Presidential vote on June 16th and 17th are possibly the greatest days in the history of Egypt and everyone is talking about it.
