Wears Well

Possibly one of my favourite butterflies and it's not bold in colour or brash in behaviour, it's understated and spends most of it's life dancing from one wild grass blade to the other and today there were several in my garden, fluttering through the ox eye daisy stems and catching a few sun rays!  They're so simple, yet their pattern is just perfect and apart from that deep rich brown shades into light, I love the white highlights! :)  And they have the sweetest name too - 'Ringlet' - Perfection! :) xx
