Pollen count

The heat wave continues, 35 degrees again today.  So we seek out the shade, move in slow motion, drink lots of water and wilt a little in late afternoon.  We did go out for a bit of shopping in 19 degrees of air-conditioned comfort, but as soon as you get out of the car the heat hits you like a furnace wall.  Watched Andy from behind the sofa for the first two sets, but gave up long before the end of the third.  The insects are enjoying the heat, especially the butterflies and the bees.  The latter get the nod in today's blip.
