Wedding....

As you pass through Albert Square you often see wedding parties. The Town Hall is a popular place for people to get married. And it doesn't come cheap, you have to be well heeled to afford to have your nuptials here.

It's always been a young couple getting married here when I pass through. But this afternoon it was a couple who weren't in the first flush of youth, shall we say. They were drawing quite a crowd. Him in his sharp, dark suit and purple tie; she looking lovely in her white dress, carrying a bouquet. Their photographer was posing them under the colonnade of the Town Hall Extension. I sneaked an extra picture.

People stood watching them with obvious delight. It was one of those moments where strangers felt they had to say something to each other. I wondered what their back story was. They did look happy. I wish them a long and happy life together.
