Qualifying...

What a glorious day... sun shone and sunburn and midges were the order of the day... We had such a good time, and so many potential blips. I've settled on this one which shows just a tiny bit at the end of the track with two bikes coming into the finish.

We also watched the four cross races, which was pretty full on, 4 guys racing down this track, we saw a display team which was really good and we also watched the trial riders balance their way across big rocks and logs whilst on a bike.

We had a few beers and a pretty long day, back to the tent by about 830 for pasta and then fell into bed just as it was getting dark. Probably a good idea given the midges. Roll on tomorrow.
