High up above Heimaey

We went to the Vestmannaeyjar Islands today, or specifically: to the Isle of Heimaey. 
There we climbed up to the Heimaklettur that looms over the island, with the help of three very steep and long ladders and an exposed  climbing spot. I am very proud of myself that I managed so well with my fear of heights! From up there you can see the main island, the sea, sourrounding islands and the whole of Heimaey and it's city. It is a tiny place and the city was partly destroyed by an vulcanic eruption in 1973.
