Goldfinch treat..

but otherwise a thorny fellow.  I found this teasel growing next to our local wild bird spotters garden and liked the way it was coming in to flower!!  They are so much prettier like this than when they go brown later but how do the goldfinch not get spiked?

Boring grey and wet day and worse because there was no Wimbledon left to watch.. not that there is usually much time to watch it of course!
