And so we went for the pre school eye test; somehow we'd missed it at nursery, so off we trooped into town so that he could have an eye patch applied and pretend he was a pirate. Mostly fine; he can see straight and is more hawk than bat.
Although I think he was pretending to be an F -111 or an F-14 Tomcat here...

Strategic strike raid over, we headed to the Modern Art gallery to see if Lichtenstein's bomber was on display to compare and contrast. As it turned out we found a royal blipper; no consolation to the boys, but made for an interesting catch up for me.
