Summer Cloudscape
These are the sort of fluffy clouds that we have not seen enough of this summer. The reflections are in the Forth and Clyde Canal at the Stables Inn, near Kirkintilloch. The stables were built in 1812 to rest the horses which pulled the canal boats, with the inn alongside to refresh the boatmen and passengers. I was treated to a lovely lunch there today by my dear friend Manjulika, after which we strolled along the canal path past the colourful boats and wild flowers on the bank. (See extra photos).
