Boudicca

Began life as Royal Viking in 1973 & owned then byKloster Cruise . Has had ten name changes altogether! now the Boudicca and owned by Fred Olsen since 2005. Registered Nassau Bahamas (whats new)
Built in Helsinki cost $20 million.
She had an engine room fire off Morocco in Jan this year!!  That would be the toast burnt then!
Its got 3 resturanutns and you have to dress formal at least one night . well that's me buggered as i don't do formal I  have no clothes one could call formal!
Personally I prefer the wee CalMac ferry on its way to Arran for a cruise  and I wouldn't have to dress ladeda formal!
There were a fleet of busses coaches as my tour driver always reminded me! I didn't spot any West Coast Motor coaches which was a little odd given that it was anchored off Tarbert!!!
They all came ashore bearing their wee Fred Olsen packed lunches so no business for resturauints apart from the odd coffee!!. I also didn't see them carrying any large pressies to bring home bearing in mind they looked about a hundred years old! . From my experience of coach tours they have an average spend of £10 a day that means buying bloody fridge magnets Don't you just hate being brought one! a few postcards as most of them couldn't take a photo to save their lives! some crumbly shortbread  oatcakes get stuck under their wallies!

Still the weather was kind and the two wee kids piping got about twenty quid in tips from the five hundred passengers that trachled past them so win win!
