A Day of Textures
Found just the colour of slate we wanted this morning for the garden - it's coming tomorrow - very excited... even though they didn't have turquoise. It was behind these magnificant doors (extra pic). Then had a really productive day - poor E shifted about a dozen really heavy paving slabs into the car on their way to my little brother's garden. Treated him (E, not little brother) to a sit down at the local Indian tonight. Then we had a slow stroll along the shoreline... so still, waves just managing a small flick at the edge of what we decided was a rose madder coloured sea. (extra)
Main pic happened at the local Marina here in Seaham. Used to be a splendid dock until they 'tidied it up' Only a few good bits left, visually.
