Green with Envy

You may remember this - the writer's garden? Still looks fab - all green and lush and contrasty and wild - a great green space to be in - but I know how hard she works to keep it that way. And in the extra - in her 'idle' moments she sews - this piece is called, 'Woman of the Woods' - for a project we're doing with our writers' group - which she organises, about our local saxon church. Tonight she's rushing off to give a talk at DurhamUni about the role of women in the miners' strike - no, she's never still for a moment - I keep mentioning blip to her - I know she'd love you all - but as predicted - she doesn't have the time!
She also makes beautiful watercolours and takes stunning photos and writes amazing poems - a true renaissance woman.
One day I'll drag her here :-)
