It's so overt it's covert

Went on a secret recon mission with my boys tonight. Highly successful. Technical aspects of mission accomplished, also very pleasant from a social perspective. 

D-Day minus 11, although preliminary landings and establishment of beachhead commence in just six days.

It's a well planned operation accompanied by the deployment of significant assets ... fingers crossed that we achieve the desired outcomes ...

On the home front we did have to fight off an invasion of flying ants, but TSM used a range of countermeasures to repel them. As for the NHS Theatre of Operations, we are just mopping up after last week's battle of the paperclips. Just dealing with the last few pockets of bureaucratic resistance.

As my mum always says, it's a great life if you don't weaken.
