Gold and Grey

It rained on and off all day. At least the temperature was relatively mild. It was of some relief after a very cold snap and a string of frosts. The early blooming wattle trees are flowering along a section of the Taylor River. The bright yellow and gold tones of the flowers made a splash of cheerful colour against the uniform grey of today's sky.
