A tour

Three days pottering about before meeting a group of Wellington staff cyclists in Strasbourg. France is amazing in having so many pretty sights that one has never heard of. We have a book of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France that we often us to plan our route and it seldom lets us down.
This is the village of Ardlempes on the Loire - with a chapel and castle perched on an outcrop with a small family run hotel below it. The only other people there were another English couple making their annual migration from Salisbury to Aix-en-Provence.
