Too cool for the pool!

I'll admit it ~ I'm a wimp!

It rained all weekend, and because I didn't have to go out, I just stayed at home, dry and warm, for three whole days.

The family wasn't about to starve, but I did need to venture out today, in search of a few neccessities, you know, bread, milk, cat food, that sort of thing.

Whilst in the pet food aisle of the supermarket I spotted a huge bird seed bell, to hang on a tree for the feathered wildlife to nibble on. Considering the huge appetites of the birds in the yard during the weekend, (they were constantly squarking at me for hand-outs), I thought that would be a great investment.

Between showers, I managed to dash outside with camera slung around my neck, leave the bird seed bell in a huge tree, where, hopefully, my little feathered friends will find it, and take a quick shot of the pool.

I'm sure the pool is feeling a tad neglected at the moment, and rightfully so! It's way too cool for the pool!!

P.S. Our temperature range during the weekend varied between 14 degrees C to about 16 C.
