roadside snack....

Travelled back from Lilongwe this morning and passed lots of little boys selling these small birds along the side of the road.  I didn't buy any - they were selling for K200 per stick ($0.43)
 

What a journey - so many broken down lorries and I was stopped by the police 3 times and asked the same questions each time, show my license and let them check the discs!  I suppose I should be thankful as there were 8 road blocks in total and I was only stopped 3 times!!  And I didn't have to pay a bribe or was not fined either so that is a bonus!!!
