A chocolate fix!

I spent the day with Alison, Annie and Max when we collected him from school. The children were selling cakes that they had made to their friends to raise money for school. By the time we got home the chocolate had melted and it was difficult not to end up wearing it!!

This could have been a sad day, as I won’t see the family as often when we move. I felt a bit wobbly before I went over this morning, but kids are very matter of fact about things (most of the time) and it’s about the here and now, what are we doing today.

Max can be a bit of a worrier and has his 7th birthday at the weekend, so moves to junior school after the holiday. He’s not sure about this change, so to avoid any added upset we talked about our next meeting and  decided to have a day out in London.  Max can choose where we go.  Hugs and kisses all round and promises that nothing will change :0) They are a super family!!
