A Lack Of Power

I went to take a picture of the Cygnet sleeping ............ dead battery.
Try the phone ..................... not enough power to use the flash
SWMBO gave me her camera .............. dead battery.

Unbelievable!

It isn't as if we have no betteries - we have dozens of various sorts (including spares for the cameras).
We would just appear to be very bad at not checking what power we have left.
