Out of the blue

Out of the blue I received this picture by email taken in 1963. It is some of the ships company including the Royal Marine Detachment of HMS Gurkha. We are somewhere in the Irish Republic at a cottage owned by the Royal Navy for R&R. The ship was on a visit to Londonderry and we were given a few day at the cottage. I think the sailors went by coach, we marines were dropped off at night and walked there over a mountain range in the dark!! This was before all the troubles started as you may have guessed.
I can't remember the photo being taken but the faces and the names come flooding back and many more memories of the two years we all lived together in a little tin box.
