Onwards and Upwards

Year 6 leavers service this morning as they move on from Primary into Secondary education. 
It was a lovely service, not overly religious but focus on the children of course. There was a section when they related memories of their time at Barnwood school, singing, a prayer for their future and a word from the new Headmistress who has been at the school for a number of years but now taking the reins in the new school year starting September.

We wish Dhylan every happiness and success at his new school, we know he'll not have any trouble making friends, he's just that sort of boy.
