In the company of HRH

70th Anniversary of the Cirencester Womens' Section today attended by Royal British Legion Riders Branch Gloucestershire with people from Wiltshire, Forest of Dean, Gloucester, Slimbridge etc. A good turnout for a great event.
In attendance, and doing one of the readings, was The Princess Royal, HRH Princess Anne.
After the service and march past there was a reception in the Church and the first group that HRH made a beeline for was the Riders. She was very interested in what we do and also about the Wild Boar problems in the Forest of Dean. 
She was charming and very easy to talk to and took an interest in everything.
Many other VIP's came to talk to us and were quite amazed at the sort of activities we get up to so the name of the RBL Riders Branch was upheld with great pride and I'm sure we will not be forgotten by those that met us.
