Gold and green
A visit to the dentist caused me to be in Cumbernauld Village on Thursday morning. I decided to take advantage of the situation by going for a walk after my appointment in Seafar Woods,
The conditions were somewhat different to those on my last walk through these woods in January, but I was quite surprised to see that a few of the trees had already started to change colour from their summer green to a more autumnal gold.
Our summer hasn't been that bad (has it?) We're still in mid-July, for goodness' sake! Thankfully, most of the plants and trees were still in their verdant summer colours and those wearing gold were much in the minority. For now at least.
