Kindred Spirits!

Had such a lovely day with jinglyjan Mark and Sadie the Springer Spaniel! After a cuppa at mine we walked into and round the village, then along the river and up into Cotehele for more tea and food, along to the Mill , back down into Calstock for a drink in the pub. The sun and it being a Friday night had brought everyone out - place was heaving! Off to the village Hall for food from my fellow coop friend and the shop for a can for Sadie! Back to mine - food, more drink - finally Ice cream - Gelato with Espresso poured all over it! Had tried to have one in Calstock but we thought have it after our walk, then tried at Cotehele but it had just shut - even though it was Friends daughter serving!! More talking and then antibiotics for poorly shadow and hat trying on from school resources for Jan! Time to look at Amelia, but to Marks relief no time to let her out  as I had to rush to allotment for chicken lock up! 
Jinglyjan had brought her knitted Clanger and had much fun positioning and photographing her at Cotehele and I had much fun taking her doing so! We spoke of food production, politics, blip, health service, Art and Opera, ethics and values  and all things in between including rats which seemed a recurrent theme and lots and lots of laughter!! We also had a photo challenge of an immense black beetle that seemed to have iridescent blue legs, back, even tummy at times! Plus an abortive attempt to photograph a dragonfly - Mark found a good place to sit both times!!
 I forgot to give them eggs when they left, so maybe they will meet me for Electro Swing tomorrow - if I indeed have the energy for it after today and the meeting as she so beautifully put it, of kindred spirits! x
