Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools

This afternoon we headed to the hot pools and had a good old soak. It was lovely....until getting out into a air temperature of 5 degrees C. It was freezing!

Tonight we are heading out for tea to celebrate Farmerboy's special birthday. We have family arrive here from all over NZ so should be a wonderful night.

It's cold and raining here. We are expecting snow to fall very soon - which will be very beautiful, although not so good for travelling back home tomorrow. We might just get snowed in.......which means staying in this beautiful part of NZ. I could think of worse places to be stuck. :-)
