Summer Scarecrow Stroll

Had a lovely day exploring Harrogate - had a good wander around the town, bought some lunch to eat as we wandered around the Valley Gardens, then walked on through Pinewoods to Harlow Carr, and back again.  Came across a whole host of amusing scarecrows on the way - part of the Harrogate in Bloom programme.

Have had really sore teeth and gums since getting a couple of fillings last week - finally gave in this afternoon and phoned my dentist back home, who advised me to see another dentist while I'm away.  Couldn't get an appointment here, so decided to try again tomorrow, once we're in Keswick.

Went for a nice soft noodly dinner at Wagamama's, and then on to a local pub for a couple of drinks.  Lovely relaxed evening, apart from the tooth pain!
