The British Summer

Another side of Eastbourne. So very English.

I went for a walk this morning. I don't run - my knees can't take it. The forecast was for rain and it was accurate. But it was super.

Dog walkers, joggers, lots of umbrellas - and most people said "Good morning". wild flowers dripping, seagulls and pigeons as wet as we were.
So very English. So very very reassuring. Anoraks and cagoules - all's right with the world.
