St Mary's

a long ruined church at Tilney cum Islington. I have been here before but then the weeds and grasses were too high and obscured the gravestones.

I wondered about monochrome but felt the sky and red stonework deserved to keep their colour. I used a polarising filter to darken the sky and bring out the cloud detail.
