first (proper) day of the holiday has been utterly wonderful. a long lie in, coffee, a wander into the quarry, pastries in the dingle listening to a live jazz band and reading, sunshine, a beer by the river, more reading and sunshine, all rounded off with a curry. the holidays have started extremely well. shrewsbury, you are magnificent.
