Breaking Through

Today the holiday started for me (Chris) and the girls. We flew into Munich to be met by Annie in our car (always a slightly strange experience) and then drove on to Bad Kohlgrub in Bavaria which will be our base for the next few days. It's a beautiful spot surrounded by mountains, very warm when we arrived although within an hour I was stood under a tree in a thunderstorm! Hopefully we won't see too many of those this week.

After the rain moved on we were treated to a spectacular sky as the sun dropped below the remaining storm clouds. Annie whisked up a lovely spag bol and we've had a fun evening of card games. A great start to the week.
