Three's a crowd..?

Beetles.

I haven't looked them up to identify them yet.
I'm having a beetley couple of days.
(Learning facts about lily beetle larvae was a revelation.. A whole Other Story, including fascinating facts concerning 'faecal disguise'.
Who knew?
Thank you family, for an evening of fun questions and looking-stuff-up. Are we weird? No reply necessary :-/).

This capture was taken on, what I believe is, one of the oldest untouched meadows in the UK. The meadow was alive with 'busy' beetles.
I also had some lovely butterfly shots.

Sadly, owing to the fact that I was at an Event, I was wearing the contact lenses.. And, I've tried everything (including auto focus), but contact lenses are not good for camera focus for me. I always end up disappointed. Anyone else have the same issue?  

It's all a bit of a rush to blip tonight.
I'm pretty sure the above are NOT lily beetles!
