Bougainvillea

Nothing screams Queensland like the humble Bougainvillea.  They are the most prolific flowering plant and their colours are just sensational.  Many people consider them a nuisance, but honestly, planted in the right location they can be a stunning addition to a garden.

This beauty if minding its own business just outside the back door of the home we are staying in and it was the colour that really caught my eye.  Just getting in a bit of practise for TinyTuesday Week 8 (would you believe) and so happy to announce that our esteemed Judge for week 8 will be Beckett.  If anyone knows a good macro, it's Beckett.  

I am really pleased that Tom agreed to step in to the Judges shoes this week and he has asked me to mention that with his family commitments at the moment it may be Friday before he is able to post his selection for the week.  We do understand Beckett and just so grateful you have so willingly put your hand up for the task.  Remember the two tags for the week will be TinyTuesday8 and the generic tag TinyTuesday - happy macroing everyone!!
