Oh No......

It's a full house - well almost!!

This morning I called in to my favourite cake shop in the whole world, not just Coburg but seriously the whole world!!

Trivelli Cakes is unfortunately located a very short, too short a walk from our Melbourne family. I suggested to CCN that we should buy morning tea and I was pleased that on this occasion I could go into the shop unsupervised! It was early Sunday morning and guess what, just about every shelf was fully stocked. I was one happy little vegemite.

This wonderful cake shop is an institution in Melbourne and is testament to the skills of the original owners Giussepe and Michela who started the business 40 years ago.

The staff are always so friendly and I'm not sure why but their eyes seem to light up whenever I walk in to the shop. These little cakes on the shelves are the small variety and I never feel they will do much harm, particularly as they're full of healthy ingredients like ricotta etc. Who's kidding who here!!

By the way, just a tip, if you view the LARGE version of this image you may be able to see that there's quite a gap in the tray of mini vanilla slices!! Just saying............
