Olympic Torch

So the Olympic Torch was in Perth this afternoon then Dundee this evening. The kids ended up having this afternoon off from classes to go and see it in Perth and I rushed home this evening to take Pesky to see Emeli Sande perform in Baxter Park in Dundee.

She fairly belted out her pop songs and everyone seemed to enjoy her set. Then the idiots swarmed when the torch was brought up the little path they had made in the middle. People at the front put their kids on their shoulders (rather than simply letting them stand) and suddenly the torch had passed and no one had got a good look or clear shot because of them, including the idiots infront of me who were too interested in arguing with each other about who would take pictures and who wouldn't even let little kids push to the front to see.

The rain actually stayed off until after the ceremony. Sky was similar to the last time i took some shots there.

Funny sight at any event nowadays is the mass populous holding cameras and phones in the air recording everything, getting sore arms and wabbling about, so no doubt the video they have is shaky to hell and of little use after the first couple of mins.
