More Porjects

In theory (although not in practice), I am on holiday this week and I am spending some time catching up on some of my many ongoing projects. Here are 3. I found the mirror and the Victorian chair (one of a pair) on the left in the QEF charity shop in Leatherhead. The mirror frame needs some touching up and then a coat of wax. The I propose hanging it in the downstairs WC (I know, I know. That's what my husband thinks too, but I will blip an update in due course if it works!) I have given the Victorian chairs a good coat of wood reviver and then a coat of wax. The chair on the right is part of a set of 3 (was 4 but the 4th succumbed to terminal woodworm). They looked very old and sad. So I have gien them a coat of primer/ undercoat, then spray painted in cream and lastly a coat of dark oak wax. So far so good. Now I have to recover the drop in seats.
