Swiss Summer

It's SOOOOOOO  HOT!

We are by Lake Geneva in an apartment in Montreux for a few days so summer is definitely here.  It's much too hot for me and even SHH says it's hot!  We've had a very long day so are very tired and contemplating potentially not sleeping too well unless it cools down a bit!  I know there's no pleasing some people!

We left home at 3.30 this morning to get to Luton Airport for just after 5 am.  Luton was very busy and there was a general lack of instructions on where to go to check in bags if you'd already got your boarding pass.  Then the plane was delayed for a short time before leaving but we got into Geneva only about 15 minutes late.  Then we found our train to Montreux and all went well!  The apartment is lovely - it belongs to Sue who is Rob's cousin from Australia who stayed with us a few weeks ago.  We took to the water this afternoon as we thought that might be the coolest place - it probably was but it was still WARM!  This shot was taken at Vevey as quite a few of the boat trippers went ashore.  There were people swimming in the Lake, Boats all around, bit of a fairground and a market and it was all very atmospheric and summery.
