Summer outside St. Joseph's Church

After a monstrous storm yesterday that started with thunder & lightening at 3 p.m and going non-stop until 1 a.m. with powerful rain banging down I am surprised to see any petals on any flowers! But we are enjoying a perfectly beautiful summer day today. I love higher barometric pressure days. A lot of the wretched high humidity is gone, too, at least until tomorrow when another thunderstorm will appear.
I passed by St. Joseph's little garden with lilies in bloom and picked that for the blip of the grand summer day.
