The highland piper...

Took 3 loads of weaned bullocks out to the field then went to St Boswells with 2 yeld cows. One belonged to Littlemiss, but it hasn't held to the bull and didn't rear a calf last year,so its bye bye.
She came with me to the mart,so Patch had to go in the back of the Land Rover,and wasn't too chuffed by the change of co pilot.
Sent Littlemiss off with the i pod while I hosed out the trailer at the wash bays and she came back with this photo from the side of one of Skeldon Transport's lorries. I am always amazed by the care some of the owners take in decorating their lorries.
Have just had to bring a cow in tonight to calve. Just needed a wee pull with the calving jack. Milked some out the cow and tubed the calf,and they are both now in a pen in the shed. So time for bed I think.
