Walk, Run, Walk

When I first discovered how massive and expansive the world of digital photography was, I dived straight in; techniques became an obsession, both in camera and on screen.

One of these areas was the use of textures, which has been 'in vogue' for a while. But as I got thinking, I was missing the most important textures; those that we see through the viewfinder.

I got this idea as I was walking the dog tonight; a contrast of the burnt silver winter leaf against the harsh contrast of the concrete floor of the garage. As we normally run on an evening, it was nice to walk again; back to basics, both on foot and in camera.
