Day Trip

I took Onesmallplanet  to Whitmuir for lunch and then picked up some food at the farm shop.  Before leaving we had a look around Quercus Garden Plants which is a new addition at Whitmuir.  I took this picture when I was waiting to purchase a lovely new plant for my garden.  I really liked the depth of field with the blurry image of one of the workers moving some plants.

On the way back to Edinburgh, I stopped at Penicuik House to show it to Onesmallplanet.  Although I have been here before I have never thought to walk up the grand steps of the ruins (see extra photo) until I followed Onesmallplanet up them today.
