Friends reunited

Day 79 streaking

No way was I going for a jog today..I hurt more than yesterday.

After lounging around in the morning, I drove to Leeds for a amazing weekend of catching up with old friends. I say "friends" because originally I was just going to meet one but through the power of fate two of my other friends who I haven't seen was also in Leeds. So that's what I meant yesterday but a "cheat" weekend!

First stop Patty Smiths inside Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen. I went for the Dirty Burger and I can honestly say it's the BEST burger I have ever eaten! And I've eaten A Lot of them. It was so juicy and tasty and the seasoning was just perfect, with a side order of chips and washed down with a couple of g&ts. Happy!

I saw off that friend at the coach station. Then went to meet another.

Next stop Aire Bar..catch up and beers. A couple of Blue Moons later we went back to the hotel, got changed and then went for dinner at The bird and Beast.

From the name you know it's a chicken place. Crispy chicken, sweet potato fries and a couple more bottles of Blue Moons later we headed to the bars we we used to go to when we lived in Leeds...
