Unidentified Shrub!

I'm always posting on a social networking site near you, to ask for help in identifying a plant or shrub in the garden.  Earlier I was enquiring about a possible hebe, but this one has me puzzled:  a very tall shrub, it appears to be supported by a giant garden cane and has only a single, but extraordinary,bloom!
