Windermere cottages

I was up early and had a walk to prepare for the day.   My favoured walk for those who now the area is along Birthwaite Road and then take to very narrow, slate-walled pathways up in the direction of St Mary's Church on the High Road.   Thence down to Rayrigg and back by more circuitous little paths.

This charming row of cottages lies on one of those byways.
