Nature and Nurture

The garden is a riot of colour just now. These nasturtiums and sweet peas I grew from seed. The poppy simply arrived. The self-set honeysuckle returned. I love the way nature and nurture mix to make a garden beautiful. The nasturtiums are particularly useful to cover up scrubby areas of poor soil that encourages flowers rather than leaves and brightens dull corners. 

Now all we need is some warm sunshine. It's too cold to sit out without a coat.
